At Holy Name, our school community embraces the liturgical season of Lent as a time of renewal as we prepare to accept anew the great sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the great grace of His Resurrection. One of our spiritual practices is that our K-8 students come together in the church on Fridays at 2:30 p.m. (March 3, March 10, March 17, and March 31) to pray the Stations of the Cross together, remembering the saving action of Jesus. We welcome parents, family members, and community members to join us. These services last approximately 20 minutes.
In addition, a Traveling Cross is making its way through the K-8 classrooms. The cross is placed in a prominent spot in each classroom, and students and teachers are praying for vocations.

One of the ideas this website creator has is to pray one decade of the Rosary together each day during Lent. For resources, including Rosary Mystery cards and a fun calendar, click here. In addition, there are still several openings available to sign up for the Traveling Rosary during Lent, too.
