Monica Daoud was born in Colombia, South America, where she earned her B.A. from La Universidad de Artes y Letras before emigrating to the United States in 1992. As a Spanish teacher, she seeks to help children gain enthusiasm and an appreciation for learning Spanish as a second language in a fun way! Mrs. Daoud began supporting the community as a volunteer with different nonprofit organizations such as Leader Dogs for the Blind, the Salvation Army, Forgotten Harvest, the YWCA, Special Olympics, and Hospice of Michigan. She's currently a member of her local Lions Club. Besides her husband and two daughters, family, teaching, and volunteering have been her passions her whole life.
