Ropeta, Agatha

Mrs. Agatha Ropeta joined the Holy Name team as a fifth-grade teacher in 2021. She earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Central Michigan University and her elementary certification from Western Michigan University. Although they are rivals, she has a soft spot for both the Broncos and the Chips! She is certified to teach all subjects, grades K-5, along with political science and journalism. Mrs. Ropeta resides in Rochester Hills with her husband of 27 years, Joe, and two grown children, Bryn and Jake. Bryn is a 2020 graduate of Oakland University’s Nursing program and is now a nurse at Royal Oak Beaumont. Jake is junior at Wayne State University where he is studying mechanical engineering. In her free time, Mrs. Ropeta enjoys group fitness, outdoor recreation, spending time with her family and home improvement projects.
